Frequently Asked Questions

Our students are trained in photography, videography, editing, and content creation. They can cover events, shoot portraits, create promotional videos, produce social media content, photograph products, and more. If you have a specific need, let us know and we'll match the right student.
Not necessarily. We offer both paid placements and volunteer placements. Both are valuable for students. Just indicate your budget situation on the form and we'll work with you.
All student work goes through instructor review before final delivery. This ensures you receive professional-quality results while giving students constructive feedback.
If you've worked with a student before and want them again, absolutely. Just mention it in the form and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Ideally 2–3 weeks before the event or project start date. If your event is sooner, reach out anyway — we can often accommodate shorter timelines. For recurring placements, the sooner the better so we can plan student schedules.
Primarily Edmonton and surrounding areas. For events outside the city, let us know the location and we'll see if we can make it work.
Yes — many of our partners provide ongoing opportunities each season. Just indicate 'Recurring' on the form and we'll set up a long-term arrangement.
