Testimonial: 'Paul Oss delivered an incredible experience from start to finish. From our very first meeting, his enthusiasm and genuine passion for both content creation and the non-profit sector were clear, setting a positive tone for the entire project. He kept our team engaged throughout the planning process and made filming day comfortable and enjoyable for everyone involved. About Me

Taking the Video Production Program at Alberta Film School really fulfilled a life-long dream for me. I've always been interested in film, cinematography , photography, and visual storytelling. After leaving my career in public relations and communications, I wanted to finally pursue these creative pursuits! I am equally excited to be enrolled in the Photography Program starting in November 2026. As a musician, I also love the sound design aspect of video and cinema production. Since completing the Video Production Program in 2025, I have worked on numerous projects for organizations like the Parkland Food Bank and the Muskeg Cree Nation, and for events like the Barnebirkie Ski Race, Bikenbender Bike Race, MS Bike 2026, and Alberta’s Strongest Man Competition. I am passionate about life-long learning, eager to gain new skills and experiences, as well as making new friends along the way.

Bikenbender Race

Bikenbender Race

I had an amazing time shooting and editing this video of the BIKENBENDER which took place on Saturday, September 12 at the Cooking Lake Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area. Organized by the Canadian Birkebeiner Society, this was the third year for this wonderful celebration of sport, culture and community. And it really is “the most fun you can have on two wheels!.”

Barnebirkie Ski Race 2026

I shot and edited this footage as part of an AFS School project. The Barnebirkie is a really fun, family-style event that occurs annually in February as part of the Canadian Birkie cross-country ski festival.
