Muhamed Khattab
Director at Alberta Film School, Edmonton.
Muhamed Khattab is a filmmaker, photographer, and the Founder and Director of Alberta Film School. Based in Edmonton, he built the school to close the gap between creative ambition and real-world production skills. His work spans commercial media, independent film, and hands-on arts education, with a focus on practical training, storytelling, and industry readiness. Through Alberta Film School, Muhamed has created a collaborative space where emerging artists gain direct experience in lighting, cinematography, editing, and production rather than learning theory alone. He is committed to strengthening Edmonton’s film ecosystem by developing confident, skilled creators who contribute to the city’s cultural growth.
