Questions?

Video Editing Workshop FAQ

No. AFS has computers in the classroom with Premiere Pro installed and ready to go. You don't need to purchase any software. Just bring your footage on a USB drive or have it accessible via cloud storage.
Yes. Day 1 covers the fundamentals — interface, timeline, cuts, transitions. Day 2 goes deeper into B-roll editing, audio mixing, color grading, and export. Each day stands on its own, but together they give you the complete picture.
Not at all. This is an intro-level workshop. We start from opening Premiere Pro for the first time and build up to real editing workflows. If you've never edited a video before, this is exactly where to start.
If you have footage you want to edit, absolutely bring it. Working on your own content makes the learning more relevant. We also have sample project files available if you don't have footage yet.
Premiere Pro is the industry standard for video editing. It's what most production companies, agencies, and freelancers use. The skills you learn here transfer directly to professional work. That said, the editing principles apply to any software.
Join the waitlist anyway. We run workshops on a recurring basis, and waitlist members get first access to all future dates. You can also call us at (587) 414-2902 to discuss private lessons.
